A teacup is such a pretty sight. Unfortunately I only have one teacup and matching saucer. (I have lots of coffee cups though!) I do believe I may have sent Cielo, whose party I am linking to, a photo of another teacup without a saucer. But I found this one and must show it also. I decided a proper teacup needs a saucer.
We’re all set up out on the deck. Why, you may be asking yourself, is there a small yellow teapot? Well, that’s because I have fairy gardens here. And there might be a fairy or two in attendance.
Just look at what my oldest daughter sent me yesterday for Mother’s Day. It’s a fairy for my fairy gardens. From one of my favorite places, Garden Deva Sculpture Company in Tulsa. If you haven’t checked out this website for garden adornments, you must do so! I have pretties from there about the garden.
A very appropriate gift for me, don’t you think? The toad fairy garden in back, above, is in transition. The pot had pansies in it, but their time is limited in springtime. So I’ve planted basil, which is barely up yet. That’s why it looks a bit bare.
Mr. Red Rooster is also in attendance, as he’s quite near the fairy gardens.
We’re all set up under the pavilion also, with our red and white teapot, cream and sugar.
Would you like honey in your tea? How about a donut?
Then we’ll sit down here under the roof and listen to the waterfall and the birds. Looks like it might rain.
Thank you, Cielo, for hosting such a magical Victorian tea party. And for allowing me to attend. Now go over and visit The House In The Roses and see other pretties Cielo has found for us to enjoy.
