It happens to us all at one time or another. On Thursday after I wrote my Welcome Wagon Friday post, my computer crashed. It was nighttime, and I told myself, don't panic. You can call Buen, the computer guy who fixes my computers, in the morning.
Lo and behold, Buen is in London until the middle of the month. I can't even begin to explain how rattled that made me. Or perhaps you've been in that situation and already know. The thought of not being able to access my photos and use my camera to post seemed unthinkable.
And so I ordered a new computer, feeling the need to upgrade some programs anyway. But it will be at least a week or more before it gets here. I guess I'll twiddle my thumbs until it arrives. The FedEx guy or whoever delivers it better place it at my door and make a run for it, lest I tackle him in my enthusiasm to get to it.
How is it we become so pathetically lost without our computers?
So now I'm on my husband's computer, posting this with Blogger, which I'm sadly not accustomed to. If all the paragraphs run together, you'll know why. I've been using Windows Live Writer for over a year.
I probably won't post much from here, due to the fact that I can't access WLW and my photos. I will try to keep up with blog reading. But may be "out of action" in terms of writing posts for a bit.
