Alas, we have some new bloggers to welcome to our little community.
First, I want to tell you the story of this beautiful piece of art, a “flower” now in my garden. I just received it today in fact.
It is made by Lisa Kolberg, who designs these Forever Glass Flowers and sells them at her Etsy shop.
Months ago Marianne from Songbird emailed me. She said she really, really wanted a roll of bead board wallpaper for a project. But they wouldn’t ship it to her country. Would I be willing to order it, then send it to her? Well, you have to help your blogging friends of course. So I did just that. It took forever, for some strange reason unbeknownst to me, but finally it arrived at her doorstep.
She wanted to know what I’d like in return, and did I want to pick something out on Etsy? And so I picked this “forever flower.”

We have Cornflake from Sydney, Australia. She describes herself as a reformed shopaholic. This is a blog inspired by design, aesthetic, and composition. And achieving all these things without spending a fortune. This gal has a very cute and fun blog. And is a huge Cath Kidston fan. (I know I am, though I don’t have a thing from her company yet!)
Cozy Little Cabin is from my own neck of the woods. In fact, she emailed me when she was starting her blog, as of course I am Cozy Little House. Her blog is about discovering, designing, decorating and downsizing their newfound dream cabin.
Rosewood Cottage is Nancy’s blog in Michigan. She has moved into a small cottage-style ranch home. And currently she is in the process of remodeling it. She obviously loves vintage treasures.
So go visit these new blogs when you have the chance and let them know we’re quite pleased to have them in our midst.
Note: Still haven’t found my cat Bonnie, but I’ve done all I know to do at this point. I’m very sad and I miss her, but life has to go on. I'll keep you updated.)
